Perfect for every season with an in-ground heated pool for summer and a gas wood heater for the cooler months, it boasts all the creature comforts to make your holiday relaxing and memorable.
LOCATION
Ideally positioned close to shops and supermarkets, cafes and restaurants, everything you’ll need and want is within walking distance. Bright Brewery, the waterslide, a huge playground, the splash park and the skate park are all within an easy 5-minute stroll. Take your pick of a stunning river walk, dive into the Ovens River or jump on your bike and take advantage of the plethora of local trails surrounding this gorgeous home.

CANCELLATION POLICY - STANDARD
• If notification of a cancellation or amendment is received more than 14 days prior to the booking arrival date, a fee of $110 (including GST) will apply and will be deducted from the deposit paid prior to the issuing of a refund.
• If notification of a cancellation is received 14 days or less prior to the booking arrival date no refund or credit will apply.

There’s no such thing as too many cooks in the kitchen here, a spacious, fully-equipped, modern kitchen – complete with electric and gas cooking, microwave, dishwasher, and full-sized fridge/freezer – is perfect for a big family cook up. The immaculate open plan kitchen-dining makes this home the ultimate place to congregate with family and friends. The dining table seats 12 people comfortably.

LOUNGE & ENTERTAINMENT
A large "L" shaped lounge with bean bags is great for families of all ages – a great place to gather by the large wall-mounted TV, chat by the fire or to chill out on your phone. The TV is already connected to Netflix, or you can tune in on your own devices using the high-speed WIFI.

OUTDOORS
With lush green surrounds and abundant outdoor space, this home is the supreme entertainer with its in-ground pool (available October-April) and fantastic undercover entertaining area, complete with gas BBQ and outdoor setting to enjoy the peaceful setting. A fully enclosed backyard is perfect for young kids (and pets) to roam free and enjoy the great outdoors.
HEATING & COOLING
Heating: Gas fire in the living room, panel heaters in bedrooms 1 and 2 and cassette heating/cooling located near the kitchen.

Cooling: Cassette heating/cooling located near the kitchen and ceiling fans in all bedrooms.

LAUNDRY
A washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board are all available.

EV CHARGER
Designed for convenience and efficiency, this home is also equipped with a state-of-the-art EV charger with a 7.4kw or 32A charge rate; providing approximately 40km of range per hour of charge. The smart solar charging feature ensures that some or all of the power used comes from the home’s solar system.

PARKING
There’s off street parking for up to three cars.

PET POLICY
Well behaved pets are welcome upon request. The backyard is fully enclosed with high fencing.

    Great house for different families to have a holiday. Great location - to wander into town, or walk along the river, very dog friendly, pool (very clean) was used, even though it was freezing! Very comfy beds although we couldn't get the panel heaters working. We enjoyed the spaciousness of the property, and took advantage of charging our car :). Maybe recommend an upgrade of kitchen pots/pans and utensils

    We really enjoyed our time in this house, very clean and well equipped. The kitchen has plenty of crockery etc, a good stove and quality dishwasher. Nice easy walk into town. The heating was more than adequate to keep us warm. Would definitely stay here again.

    We absolutely loved our stay at 29 Mountbatten Avenue. It was like we had come home. The house was extremely spacious. It is in the heart of bright, walking distance to the bright brewery and into town.
    Our 2 dogs loved the fully secure backyard.
    We even got to utilise the pool.
    All in all it was a great stay and we can't wait to go back.

    The outside area was great and well maintained. The dining and lounge was open and clean. The kitchen did not have enough glasses for the people who stayed. Dinner plates too large for dishwasher and sink. Kitchen getting old and tired. Beds and pillows uncomfortable. We have stayed at this property for over 10 years as it is a great location. Just needs a little update.

    The house is amazing - much bigger than you expect and very comfortable. Has everything you need, plus pool and sensational BBQ area. The set up is perfect for large groups (we had 8 people - but you could easily and comfortably have 2 x families of 5). Back yard perfect for the dog. Great house - will stay there again.

    We booked 20 Mountbatten Avenue for an extended family getaway. The facilities are great for a large group with numerous bedding options and a large family dining/lounge area and backyard with BBQ. While we didn't make use of it there is also a pool. The property is also well located being close to the river and the shops.

    We had a wonderful time, a few minor unforseen problems arose, but landlord was quick to rectify these issues. Friendly staff/landlord helped to make our stay at this lovely home very enjoyable. large open areas, closed in garden for our pooch and a lovely swimming pool for the kids.
    A short walk to river, garden and town. Perfect position. We will be back.
