Get away from it all and enjoy a unique, private rural experience in this lovely renovated cottage only 7.5kms from Bright

Set high on a working cattle farm this 80 year old fully renovated cottage and its surroundings will provide you with tranquility, restfulness and plenty of good clean fresh alpine air. Sitting on the verandah of the cottage one has a clear view of Mt Feathertop, Mt Hotham and Mt Bogong which are spectacular all year round. At night the stars are clear and feel incredibly close to you, so great for star gazing.

Approximately an 8 minute drive from the centre of Bright where there are plenty of quaint shops, restaurants, supermarkets and pubs for you to explore and enjoy. A little further afield is a 35 minute trip to Mt Beauty, or 45 minutes to Mt Hotham for a days skiing in the winter or 60 minutes to Mt Buffalo where the kids can play in the snow or bush walk in the warmer months.

Access to the Ovens river for fishing, swimming or relaxing is only a 2 minute car drive, short walk or an easy bike ride. Also, an easy bike ride into Bright for bike enthusiasts.

This property is managed on behalf of the owner by Bright Holidays (part of the Dickens Real Estate group).

CANCELLATION POLICY - STANDARD POLICY
• If notification of a cancellation or amendment is received more than 14 days prior to the booking arrival date, a fee of $110 (including GST) will apply and will be deducted from the deposit paid prior to the issuing of a refund.
• If notification of a cancellation is received 14 days or less prior to the booking arrival date no refund or credit will apply.

All cancellations are to be received via email. Please refer to our terms and conditions for our full cancellation policy.

Tre Vista Retreat offers a well equipped kitchen with gas cooking and a Saeco Cafitalia [Pod] Coffee Machine.

LOUNGE & DINING
A charming country style lounge offering seating for 5, 46 inch LCD TV, DVD player and dining seating for 6 guests.

Please note: This property DOES NOT have WIFI

HEATING & COOLING
A split system in the lounge will keep you cool in Summer and warm in Winter.

BATHROOM
Offers a shower, vanity and toilet.

OUTDOORS
Enjoy the rural surrounds from the front verandah and the gas BBQ is located under cover at the rear of the property.

PET POLICY
Tre Vista Retreat is not pet friendly.

LAUNDRY
Washing machine, iron and ironing board.

PARKING
Carport parking for two vehicles with plenty of space for your bikes

  Except the hot water pressure is bit too low (not much hot water come out even the tap has turn on to the max) & only 4 coffee capsules provided which are not enough for 3 bedrooms house & 2 nights stay, other than that, we're happy with our stay

  It was a very quiet and peaceful place. Nice and dark so you can see the stars. The house is a bit old and some parts weren't cleaned so well. But we would come back for sure.

  We arrived at Tre-Vista Lane Retreat and were greeted by Rosa who gave us a run down of the property. We were impressed with homey feel of the residence, the cleanliness and the spectacular views of the snow-capped mountains through the Ovens Valley. We were initially less impressed with the reverse cycle air con which is the major source of heating; but through trial and error we eventually had the place toasty (some written instructions would be handy). The beds and bedding were very comfortable, the hot water was plentiful and the property's proximity to Bright was very convenient.
  All in all - A great place to stay for the money.

  Stunning location and views. Tre-Vista retreat was very clean. Only negative was bathroom heater was not working and lounge heater okay but needs a service. We both loved the place!

  The property is a charming cottage in quiet rural surroundings. We have been there three times! Kitchen is well equipped and the beds are comfortable and warm. Plentiful birdlife adds to its charm. It is close to Bright (7Kms) without being in the busy town.
  Just a few less than great things to note:- Main heating is by a reverse cycle air-con unit in the living room. This unit is badly in need of servicing/upgrade as the heat output is not great and is very noisy. Similarly the heater in the bathroom is virtually useless. All this makes the place uncomfortably cool in colder weather. The light switch from the kitchen to the laundry should be re-positioned to be nearer the kitchen door so that you do not have to cross a dark room to find the light switch! The main light in the living room needs a new globe. The lights in the kitchen could be a bit brighter too!
  These are relatively minor things and they did not overly detract from what was otherwise a really enjoyable stay.
