Relax in the tastefully decorated surroundings with garden views from every window or sit outside on the veranda for an alfresco breakfast, lunch or dinner. The gas BBQ is an excellent option for cooking.

This beautiful accommodation is located close enough to town that you can walk there in approximately 20 minutes but far enough away from the hustle and bustle that you feel you are in a world of your own.

This property is managed on behalf of the owner by Bright Holidays (part of the Dickens Real Estate group).

CANCELLATION POLICY - STANDARD
• If notification of a cancellation or amendment is received more than 14 days prior to the booking arrival date, a fee of $110 (including GST) will apply and will be deducted from the deposit paid prior to the issuing of a refund.
• If notification of a cancellation is received 14 days or less prior to the booking arrival date no refund or credit will apply.

All cancellations are to be received via email. Please refer to our terms and conditions for our full cancellation policy.

BEDDING CONFIGURATION (Sleeps a maximum of 4 people)
Bedroom 1 - King Bed
Bedroom 2 - Queen Bed

Each bedroom is beautifully appointed with hanging closet space and a large mirrored wardrobe in the master bedroom for storage. Both bedrooms have lovely garden views and have ceiling fans for added comfort. All bedding and bath towels are provided.

KITCHEN/DINING/LOUNGE
Open plan living with galley kitchen including Meile dishwasher and Bosch oven. The comfortable lounges are configured around the combustion fire and television with a separate dining table and study nook. All crockery and cutlery are provided for your use with special teas, plunger coffee and a coffee pod machine for added luxuries.

HEATING & COOLING
A reverse cycle air-conditioning unit is fitted in the lounge for year round comfort and fans in the bedrooms to cool you in the warmer months. The combustion fireplace is big enough to heat the whole house during the cold winter nights. Please note a starter supply of firewood, kindling, fire lighters and matches are supplied (from May through to September only). Additional firewood can be purchased at local supermarkets and service stations.

BATHROOM
Featuring a large bath and separate shower, complimentary Molton Brown bathroom products are all included in the tariff for this property.

OUTDOOR
The securely fenced area is perfect for your pet to enjoy the holiday with you. To ensure that Bright Holidays is able to continue offering pet friendly accommodation, we ask that you ensure that you pick up after your pets. At NO time can your pet be left alone at the property so please ensure you have someone to dog sit if you plan on heading out.

LAUNDRY
Both a washing machine and dryer are available for your convenience however please use the communal clothesline behind unit 4 whenever possible. This is a cycle friendly property with hoses, buckets and brushes for washing bikes.

PARKING
Off street parking is available for 2 cars.

  Cosy and warm, neat cottage. Beautiful views. Love the quiet location and great for travelling with dogs. The beds were firm but there were plenty of blankets. Well appointed kitchen but some of the crockery needs replacing. This winter the yard was muddy for the dogs. It looks like they're in the middle of updating it. Take care, the back steps can be dangerous when icy. Great access to the river and walking tracks.

  Tyntynder Garden cottages are a gorgeous place to stay, and this is approx the 5th time I have visited. Tucked in under the gorgeous trees, close enough enough to Bright to walk into town but far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet.
  The cottage could use a deep clean as it was a bit dusty in parts, and the wi fi wasn’t working for the week we were there. But apart from that it was great, thanks for another lovely holiday.

  Our third stay at Tyntynder Cottages (cottages 1 and 4) over several years. The cottage was as immaculately presented as previously. Very clean, well furnished, good amenities. Very secure and good sized yard for our dog (a 3 year old weimaraner). It's a great location, A minute or two drive to town centre and a 1 minute walk to the river, providing a 15 minute riverside walk into town.   We had a very fine stay at the Tyntynder Cottage 1 for eight days. There was plenty of space for our small dog in a very secure area. The wood fire is an attractive feature and there was almost enough firewood to last for our total stay, an improvement on our previous visit three years ago. The accommodation is almost on the main road but set back far enough to avoid noise from the main road. The cleanliness was impressive and really appreciated. The main king size bed comfortable and warm. Having a dog limited our eating experiences to outdoor settings, but we frequented the Riverdeck Kitchen multiple times with their excellent service, very good quality and wide variety of food. Day trips to Beechworth and Mount Beauty were attractions.

  What an absolutely delightful location and place to stay. We were there when the Victorian announced yet another lockdown and decided to stay put. The fire was wonderful, the kitchen so well equipped we cooked a roast and the bed super comfortable. The team at Bright Holiday were wonderful and very easy to deal with.   Cottage is lovely and the beds were fantastic. Five minute walk away from Cherry Walk and the Ovens River with several places where the dogs can easily and safely go in and out of the river.
  
  A private garden for each of the cottages along with a communal garden area.

  Cozy small cottage feel with Hamptons style interior. Warm log fire with wood supplied. Fresh and clean with fantastic garden views. So close to the river and the best place for dogs and walking. Very enjoyable stay.

  Garden Cottage 1 was in a delightful setting, just in a quiet location and very close to the river where we could enjoy fly fishing. The cottage was very clean and bright with comfortable furnishings and the enclosed garden quite suitable for our dog and a haven for lots of birds. The booking process and checking in and out was very easy. April is a great time of the year to visit Bright for all the Autumn colours

  Tyntynder Garden Cottage 1 was the perfect escape from metro Melbourne after a crazy 12 months - well located close to the river for easy morning walks with our dog and away from the hustle and bustle of Bright during peak holiday period. Beautifully furnished, well set up with private terrace and BBQ and fenced backyard meant our 4 legged friend could have a safe run around. Highly recommended to small families and those with pets - we will return.

  My husband and I live by the sea so it was lovely to experience the lush tree lined streets of Bright again. The garden cottage was just right for the 3 nights, very comfortable bed, lovely verandah out the back and a great space for our little dog to enjoy the outdoors.

  We really enjoyed our stay at Tyntynder cottage. The cottage is well furnished and had everything we needed for a relaxing few days in Bright. The beds were super comfy and the cottage was spotless. We particularly enjoyed the garden and walking into Bright along the river track. After being unable to travel out of Melbourne due to COVID restrictions, this was the perfect place for our first trip away
