Beautifully styled unit in a quiet location close to the river and a lovely walk to the centre of Bright...plus it is pet friendly.

This property is managed on behalf of the owner by Bright Holidays (part of the Dickens Real Estate group).

CANCELLATION POLICY - STANDARD POLICY
• If notification of a cancellation or amendment is received more than 14 days prior to the booking arrival date, a fee of $110 (including GST) will apply and will be deducted from the deposit paid prior to the issuing of a refund.
• If notification of a cancellation is received 14 days or less prior to the booking arrival date no refund or credit will apply.

All cancellations are to be received via email. Please refer to our terms and conditions for our full cancellation policy.

BEDDING CONFIGURATION (Sleeps a maximum of 4 people)
Bedroom 1 - King Bed, large mirrored wardrobe and split system
Bedroom 2 - 2 x King Single Beds, ceiling fan

All bedding and towels are included.

KITCHEN / DINING / LOUNGE
Enjoy wonderful open plan living/dining with a galley style kitchen. Quality appliances including Bosch oven, Beko dishwasher and Westinghouse refrigerator. Relax on the comfortable couches and watch a DVD on the television or gather around the dining table for a meal with family or friends. All crockery, cutlery and cooking items are provided for your convenience so just stock up at the local supermarket and cook up a feast.

Wifi is provided and access details are located in the compendium.

HEATING & COOLING
Enjoy the ambience and comfort of the slow combustion fire in the cooler months whilst the reverse cycle system can cool you down as the temperature heats up outside. Please note a starter supply of firewood, kindling, fire lighters and matches are supplied. Additional firewood can be purchased at local supermarkets and service stations.

BATHROOM
Shower and bath (with separate toilet). Quality toiletries are provided for your convenience.

OUTDOORS
The verandah overlooks a securely fenced yard for you and your pet to enjoy. The gas BBQ is plumbed into the mains so you won't run out of gas whilst cooking. The established trees offer privacy and a sense of tranquility with garden aspects from nearly every window.

PET POLICY
Well behaved pets are welcome upon request. The yard is fully enclosed for their security. To allow Bright Holidays to continue offering pet friendly accommodation, we ask that you ensure you pick up after your pets. Please note that at no time is your pet/s to be left unattended in the unit. Please arrange a 'sitter' for your pet if you plan on going out.

LAUNDRY
Top loading Fisher & Paykel washing machine and Simpson dryer. Please note that there is a communal washing line at the rear of unit 4 for all guests to use.

PARKING
Off street parking is available for one vehicle.

  We love this property and its location and have now stayed there 4 times. This occasion we were disappointed by the inability to connect to the wifi because all devices rejected the password provided including the TV. The TV wasn’t tuned to channel 9 so we couldn’t watch the AusOpen tennis. We had to use our phone’s hotspot to use the 9Now app on the TV to watch the tennis. On previous stays we had no problem connecting to the on site wifi.

  We have stayed in the same cottage (Tyntynder # 4) on about four or five occasions, going back a number of years. Always a super place to stay, being so comfortable, clean, well equipped and peaceful. Being pet-friendly has been the main reason for returning. My only comment regarding an improvement is for some non-slip material to be put onto the veranda steps. The wood surface, when wet, as it was during the recent stay, is quite slippery and dangerous. Hand rails down the side of the steps would also be a safety improvement. We are not as young and agile as we once were!

  The only thing we feel needs improving is the bed in the main bedroom. It definitely needs replacing as the mattress in really uncomfortable due to sagging.

  We have stayed at Tyntynder Garden Cottages 4 times and are booked to visit again later in the year so you can definitely say we like it there. The location is perfect for walking along the river into town, not too far but far enough. The cottage is well appointed with everything you need and is very well looked after. Unfortunately this time the couple in cottage 3 had two dogs that barked continuously . We couldn’t even sit in the garden or speak without them barking at us, it ruined our stay .

  Tyntynder Cottage 4 was really perfect. It was sparkling clean, extremely comfortable, and had everything we could possibly need. The enclosed garden was a delight, for our dog as well for us, with gates giving access into the pretty lane and a 2 minute walk to the river. It was a pleasant surprise ( for two ‘oldies’!) to find 2 very comfortable leather couches, which were much appreciated. Unloading and repacking the car were both so easy, with just one small step into the cottage.
  We couldn’t have been more pleased with how smoothly everything went. It was so easy to get and to return the key. Information was clear and pertinent. Highly recommended!!

  We have been holiday ing in Bright for many years , although this was our first stay at the Tyntynder Cottage. We enjoyed our stay immensely. The whole booking process and entry to the cottage on arrival was very easy and hassle free. The cottage is in a beautiful setting and very comfortable. It is equipped with everything you could possibly need. The beds are comfy, the bathroom spacious. It even had a heated towel rack. The crowning glory was a large wood heater with wood supplied. We were greeted with a small basket of goodies (there was even a treat for our dog). We will certainly stay there when we visit Bright again.

  We loved the cottage so much! It was clean and welcoming, with some lovely locally sourced treats left for us and our pooches to sample. The surrounding area was very quiet and it was only a short drive to the centre of town. Can't wait to come back for another adventure!

  This is a lovely cottage in a fantastic location backing onto the river. Very well appointed with comfy beds, a great kitchen and pretty much everything you need supplied. The garden in gorgeous and the back deck is lovely on warm days. The yard is great for dogs, there is just a small area where the fence needs a little work (only relevant if you have big dogs). We would definitely return. A lovely stay.

  Ideal location, just off Great Alpine Rd (so no road noise at all) and still a walkable distance into Bright. The cottage has everything needed for a really comfortable stay - excellent heating options, well furnished and a good kitchen set up. Nice big store of firewood came in very handy! Setup was ideal for us and our 2 dogs.

  I can not fault the property. The gardens are beautiful and well gated, the cottage itself is gorgeous and well appointed and maintained. Close to the river for morning walks and not too far from the town centre. Helpful instruction provided all the way from booking and picking up the key to how to use the open fire and a checklist before leaving. An absolute delight to stay in. Highly recommend even if you don’t have a pet.

  This was the perfect set up for our family (3 humans plus a dog). The backyard area was stunning and beautifully shaded for the hot summer.
  They thought of everything! Olive oil, salt, sugar, all those little things you have to go and buy on arrival, they thought of for you. Even plunger coffee pre-ground! Very impressive.
  Tastefully and nicely renovated.
  And air conditioning was on upon arrival. On a 35+ day, it was a very considerate touch

  Tyntynder cottage 4 was the perfect escape for a couple and pets. The cottage was immaculate and the bed was especially comfy. Our little poodle just loved the back yard and we all enjoyed the walks along the river which was only a very short stroll away. The cottage and surrounds were private yet we were only a few minutes away from central Bright which we could access by car,bike or river walk. Truly a magical and special pet friendly cottage.
