Great home to stay and relax for a while with the family, a short bike ride or stroll to town makes this home an ideal holiday spot. Wood heater, 2 living spaces with polished timber flooring and a fully fenced backyard for the kids to play. This recently renovated property feels like home the moment you walk in the door. A fully equipped kitchen with coffee machine and light filled dining/lounge space looking out into the backyard makes you feel like just staying putting your feet up.

Free WIFI, deck out the back with market umbrella and seating to spend reading a book in the sun or choosing the next bike trail to hit. Large shed to park your bikes or keep the hotrod undercover & safe, come and enjoy this great property with friends or family. (Note: bikes not supplied)

CANCELLATION POLICY - STANDARD
• If notification of a cancellation or amendment is received more than 14 days prior to the booking arrival date, a fee of $110 (including GST) will apply and will be deducted from the deposit paid prior to the issuing of a refund.
• If notification of a cancellation is received 14 days or less prior to the booking arrival date no refund or credit will apply.

Modern and open plan with an abundance of natural light situated at the back of the house, with an 8 seater dining table makes this space perfect for entertaining with friends and family. 

LOUNGE
First lounge area flows naturally on from the dining space overlooking the spacious backyard and decking area. The Lounge situated at the the front of the house with polished original timber floor invites you to sit and relax in a quieter space and read your favourite book.

HEATING & COOLING
Wood combustion heater in the front lounge area as well as a split system cooling and heating. There is another split system in the open plan dining lounge area. Please note a starter supply of firewood, kindling, fire lighters and matches are supplied. Additional firewood can be purchased at local supermarkets and service stations.

Modern bathroom with bathtub for the kids with a shower overhead, toilet and vanity all in the one space.

OUTDOORS
Spacious secure backyard with a deck and ample lawn to let the kids roam free.

    We wanted a location in Bright for a three generations family trip to Bright. This was perfect. The property was comfortable and well fitted with everything we needed including proper coffee making kit. Large dining tables both inside and outside made for relaxed mealtimes. The garden is ideal ; secure and safe for little ones to play in. The town centre is an easy 10 minute walk by the road or better still along the Ovens River. We hope to visit again.

    The property was gorgeous, clean and very spacious with the 2 living areas. The fireplace was really nice and really creating a very relaxing atmosphere. We highly recommend this property.

    Only possible improvement is to have sensor lights turned on in the carport as on our first night it was a bit tricking getting out of car to front door.

    Thanks for the holiday accommodation. The character filled cottage was lovely & clean. Awesome storage space in the bedrooms. The quinola provided was delicious & we found some ripe figs to enjoy off one of the many beautiful fruit trees in the picturesque backyard. Easy bike ride into town and we were blessed with some lovely warm early Autumn weather. A restoring dip in the creek nearby the Bright splash park on one of the warmer days was wonderfully refreshing. Relaxation exercise in the backyard on the beautiful plush grass with stunning mountain backdrop was much appreciated too. Shops were closely situated for cooking in the well equipped cottage kitchen. We also enjoyed Pizza at the Bright Brewery, beautiful Chinese Takeaway and a trip to the Bright ice-creamery. It was a windy car journey up to Mt Beauty with some pretty photo opportunities up top. Thank you.

    We've stayed here twice now. Will quite possibly go for a third and fourth..

    It's a nice walk to the cafes and shops. It's in great condition, has tons of space and everything you need.

    The backyard is quiet and green - you can sit inside and look out at it and hills beyond.

    Wonderful long weekend again in beautiful Bright. This is the a reoccurring place for us. the house is a home away from home. Always clean and welcoming.     I spent four days here with my son as a base to explore Bright and to go mountain biking. The house is in a great location, easy to access everything by car, bike or walking. It was clean, comfortable and was very well set up for everything we needed.

    We rented the house last minute and could not be happier. The house was warm, had all the features you would need and was in a great spot to explore the ski fields.
    The kids loved their room and enjoyed having a nice warm fire place. The house is perfectly positioned to the town centre. I was worried about road noise, given its on the main street, but it was barely noticeable.
    There was a little coffee cart across the road in the entrance to the caravan park which was awesome.
    The only thing I didn't like was that the dining room was at the back of the house with a lounge with no TV. Kids obviously wanted to eat in front of the fire place and tv. Not really a negative, but a TV in the back lounge would have made sense.
    Overall a superb experience and would book again.

    We had a great holiday experience in Bright staying at Caits Place. About 1km from the main town it’s quiet, short enough to walk down the road or along the river for a 1.5km.
    The house was great for our family of 6, 4 kids had to fit into 3 beds though. There were a few small things that needed to be fixed, all the batteries needed replacing in smoke alarms, the shower head washer was gone etc. I’m sure these will be fixed quickly though. We did think from the pictures of a garage with bikes and equipment that there were items for the general use of renters, however the garage was empty so I would recommend removing that picture as it’s misleading. However we would definitely return to the same house and would recommend it to friends, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Bright for the first time.

    We stayed at Cait's place for 3 nights and it was the perfect place to stay to enjoy Bright. The wood fire was lovely as the nights were still quite cold. The house was clean and tidy with everything you could need for a few days (or longer) away.

    Our family stayed in Cait's Place during August 2021 as a base for the ski fields. The property was immaculately clean and well looked after. North facing living area kept the place warm. About 10 minutes walk to the splash park and brewery, or slightly longer by the nearby river trail. The property had a selection of books and DVDs, plus an effective wood heater. Would stay here again and is great value for money.

    This is a lovely house a short walk or ride away from the Brewery and River. Rooms were lovely, and the kitchen fantastically equipped with gas stove and dishwasher. Pedestal fans in all the rooms were a welcome addition on a very hot weekend, and the lock-up shed was great for people with bicycles to store. Would definitely stay here again.

    This property was perfect for our family, so clean and newly renovated. Two lounges and rooms away from entertainment area so kids could sleep. Fully equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds. Laundry and dish washer were a big plus. Would definitely recommend this and thanks to management for awesome key collection and drop off arrangements.
