Feathertop

Feathertop offers a complete getaway, with spacious accommodation, stylish decor, views and a convenient location. This house provides the ideal place for whole family to enjoy or even a couple of families just moments from the rail trail.

This house has plenty of space for everyone you won't find yourself getting in each others way. With three living spaces, the adults can enjoy a game of cards and drinks by the fire whilst the kids play pool and enjoy a movie upstairs in the games room, or why not enjoy the pool table and views yourself and the kids have free range of the two downstairs lounge rooms, the options are endless.

There are four spacious bedrooms. Two king rooms each boasting an ensuite and walk in robe. A Queen bedroom and a children’s bedroom with a double bed and a single bunk set. These two rooms share a bathroom in the middle.

The kitchen is large enough for the whole family to share the workload when cooking a family feast and a BBQ and good size alfresco area to if you want to enjoy the warm summer evenings outside.

This property is managed on behalf of the owners by Bright Holidays, part of the Dickens Real Estate group.

CANCELLATION POLICY - STANDARD POLICY
• If notification of a cancellation or amendment is received more than 14 days prior to the booking arrival date, a fee of $110 (including GST) will apply and will be deducted from the deposit paid prior to the issuing of a refund.
• If notification of a cancellation is received 14 days or less prior to the booking arrival date no refund or credit will apply.

All cancellations are to be received via email. Please refer to our terms and conditions for our full cancellation policy.

All bedding and bath towels are provided.

KITCHEN & DINING
Perfect sized kitchen for all the family to help out. All the modern appliances, dishwasher, microwave and large family sized fridge with a wine fridge. The open plan kitchen and dining flowing into the main lounge room makes this a great house for the family to congregate. The dining has enough room to comfortably fit 10 people with large sliding doors opening up out to the alfresco area providing perfect indoor and outdoor dining.

LOUNGE & ENTERTAINMENT
Three separate living areas mean that there can be movies playing at in one area of the house, a quiet game of cards in another and a game of pool going on upstairs. All three spaces have large couches, huge TVs and heating and cooling options making this house ideal year round.

WIFI is available.

Cooling: Ducted heating/cooling located near the kitchen

Heating: Woodfire combustion heating plus ducted heating/cooling - Please note a starter supply of firewood, kindling, fire lighters and matches are supplied. Additional firewood can be purchased at local supermarkets and service stations.

OUTDOORS
Featuring fantastic undercover entertaining area with gas BBQ. Many happy memories will be created at this property.

  We really enjoyed our stay at Feathertop. The house is huge with several living spaces and outdoor entertaining areas. The generous sized kitchen is very well appointed, with wonderful views of the valley below. We enjoyed walking into town each morning to coffee and exploring the river walking paths and the rail trail. These are all within a short distance from the house. We would stay at Feathertop again.

  We stay here with 6 others in my family. House situated on outskirts of Bright towards Porpunkah but you can walk into town via the river or ride your bike. We love the space in the large house so we don’t fall over each other. Everything is thought of. The kitchen is equipped to cater for every situation. Beds and pillows are really comfortable. In fact the whole house is comfortable. We love the view over to Mt Bogong from the kitchen, the veranda and from the balcony. Nothing to fault. We’ve stayed several times and will be back again next year for our annual family holiday.

  An amazing family retreat overlooking Bright, the valley and mountains. Waking up to that view everyday is relaxing in itself. Inside, the house has amazing spaces to utilise. The bedrooms are large and spacious, the lounge rooms are modern and very comfortable with a tv in every room. The kitchen is also large and has all the amenities including a large butlers pantry with two fridges. The outdoor bbq area again is spacious with a large bbq, ice box and dining table with a ceiling fan to cool on hot days. There’s also a large double garage for cars, bikes etc. The upstairs games area has a pool table and two balconies, each with furniture so you can be in or out of the sun and again, the view towards Bright and beyond is stunning.

  My large family including a baby and a 2 year old spent 3 nights at Feathertop to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday. On arrival we could not believe how beautiful, large, comfortable, spotlessly clean and well equipped the house is. It is so well furnished and designed, with several living areas, a huge, wonderful kitchen, a gorgeous outdoor bbq area and views of snowcapped mountains. Bedrooms are luxuriously fitted out with beautiful linen and very comfortable. We took advantage of the superb kitchen where it is a pleasure to cook, and all enjoyed the upstairs games room. The babies (and adults!) loved watching the kangaroos and several different birds who frequent the lovely grounds.
  I really can't describe how superb this home is - we feel very fortunate we were able to secure it for such a special family occasion and all hope to return one day.
  Bright is a very lovely town to spend time in and beautiful walks are just out your front door. We went horse riding and drove over the mountain to Mt Beauty - Bright and surrounds are a glorious part of Victoria.
