Breathe in the fresh country air and enjoy taking to the area by foot, stepping out of the driveway to your left will take you up through the hills to Brights famous Apex Lookout with stunning views across the valley.
Turning right out of the driveway will take you on a downhill walk in to Brights town centre, crossing the Ovens River and through the towns popular Centenary Park.

This property is managed on behalf of the owner by Bright Holidays (part of the Dickens Real Estate group).

CANCELLATION POLICY - STANDARD POLICY
• If notification of a cancellation or amendment is received more than 14 days prior to the booking arrival date, a fee of $110 (including GST) will apply and will be deducted from the deposit paid prior to the issuing of a refund.
• If notification of a cancellation is received 14 days or less prior to the booking arrival date no refund or credit will apply.

All cancellations are to be received via email. Please refer to our terms and conditions for our full cancellation policy.

BEDDING CONFIGURATION
Bedroom 1: King bed with ensuite including luxury spa bath.

All bedrooms feature large built in wardrobes and electric blankets, plus extra blankets for the cooler months.
There are luggage stands in each bedroom for your convenience.
All linen is provided at this property.

LOUNGE & ENTERTAINMENT
Sit back and relax in the large living area, looking out to the country-style garden. Curl up on the comfortable couches and read your favourite book. NOTE: The open fireplace is not operational.

WIFI is available at this property.

KITCHEN & DINING
The large light filled kitchen is well equipped with breakfast bar, large oven, cook top, and dishwasher, which will make entertaining a breeze, walk through the kitchen into the dining room with a Coonara wood heater and seating for six.

BATHROOMS
An ensuite off the master bedroom as stated above. The main bathroom has a large bath, shower and vanity, with separate toilet and powder room.

LAUNDRY
Laundry facilities include both washer & dryer and a clothes airer.

HEATING & COOLING
A ducted heating & cooling system in the main areas of the house with a heat transfer system, a Coonara wood heater in the kitchen/dining area (NOTE: The open fireplace is not operational). Please note: firewood is not provided at this property. Firewood, kindling and fire lighters can be purchased at both the local supermarkets and service stations.

OUTDOORS
A BBQ and outdoor table setting is located in the backyard, enjoy alfresco dining amongst the well-manicured gardens.

    Tucked away from the street, the property is surrounded by a lush green lawn and feels very private. It’s a very short walk to the market and Main street. The living space is very large and the bedrooms are very comfortable. Really good value for money. Thanks for the stay!

    I stayed at this home 5 weeks ago and was disappointed that my concerns advised at that time had not been fully addressed.The garden was still in a very poor state, wifi was still not available abt the split system still not working. In saying that the home was very clean and comfortable.Work also needs to be done on the steps leading up to the house they are very uneven and one of my party had a fall, luckily no serious injuries.

The owners have recently installed a ducted reverse cycle air conditioning system so the old split system is due to be removed.

    We enjoyed our stay at this house, usually at 12 Mt Porpunka Rd, this house was spacious quiet and comfortable, great beds and the heater was fantastic.Just needs a few updates, such as the stove and oven and the taps in the bathrooms were showing their age, outdoor table and chairs could also do with an upgrade. Other wise everyone was happy.

    This home was a great size for our large family, and very clean. One reason we chose this home was because of the fireplace and wood heater. We very carefully lit the fire in the fireplace, and before long the house began to fill with smoke. We needed to open the doors and windows to be able to safely sleep at night. The house was listed with a BBQ but this was not operational, and some money was refunded because of this fact when I asked for compensation.

    The house was clean, tidy and had large lovely bedrooms. Unfortunately our stay was slightly compromised by a leaking out door BBQ which had to be decommissioned by a plumber. The stove top in the kitchen was also faulty and needs replacing. The micro wave stopped working and the out door table needs replacing. The Estate Agent looking after the property were fantastic and caring to deal with. We were able to negotiate a discount on our stay as a result.
    I would only recommend this property to others if the items listed were replaced.
    The lesson: Always ask if everything is in good working order before committing.
    Bright was also very busy at the start of the school holidays and it was hard to book anywhere to eat so be prepared to take your chance on what ever is available.

    Enjoyable. Suggestions to improve are new out door furniture. The steps to be repaired for safety ( different height levels). Would help if Rose bush pulled back from path, so not walking into it in the dark.
